Community leader Karmal Machera is counting the money earned through the “Girafa”, a yellow phone charging station, which can charge up to 30 phones simultaneously. People in the village pay 10 Meticals to charge their phone. The Girafa is owned and run by the Impire Village Development Organisation (VDO). Profits go towards needs identified by the village.
